Description

The Delta 14 Chassis Wedge Angle Adjustments can be used either together or separate to change the angle of the stock to the Delta 14 Chassis. they also will work with your Mossberg 500, 590 shotgun.

Explanation:

The factory stock on the Mossberg 500, and 590 have a downward angle. This angle is optimum for iron sights or the front bead. If you were to add a red dot or optic, then you either have to float your cheek or install a cheek riser to accommodate the sight picture needed through the optic. With the wedges this will correct the downward angle and raise the stock as to better align the eye to the optic system.

The Delta Chassis is no different. Many aftermarket stocks do follow this downward angle. This is not optimum for the M1A platform. For this reason, Delta 14 Inc. produced 2 different wedges to assist in these aftermarket stocks being parallel to the receiver.   In some of the product offerings that Delta 14 inc. has, the Mesa Tactical adaptor is used to gender change from the Mossberg 500/590 receiving end to install AR parts such as stocks and pistol grips. This adaptor does not require these wedges because the adaptor is already set to be parallel to the receiver.

Note that a longer fastener may be required which is 5/16X18 for the thread.
